The harsh concrete barrier separating the sparse, cold and fragmented fake grass from the rich oasis beyond epitomises the notion of exodus in flock whereby the many have to overcome the barrier in this case the stream to reach the oasis. As such the composition focuses the dichotomy of the two sides, the two versions of human with dynamics and spoken word, particularly that of the Mourners Kaddish, on of the holiest prays in the Jewish religion, written in Amharic and spoken in Hebrew it is recited when someone has passed away, and here in the composition reflects the consequences of exodus.
